The first summer
It’s the first ray of sunshine. The first ice cream. The first footprint on the sand. The first wave or the first dip in the river. The first tanned skins with shiny cheeks. The first photo. The first night when the heat breaks and you can take in the cool air in the garden or the first impromptu dinner that extends well into the night.
It’s also the first adventure, the experience of discovering unknown places and the first souvenir. It’s that time of year when it seems that everything is possible, that anything can happen. In fact, we believe that it’s true: that summer has a touch of magic that goes beyond the light that bathes everything.
This is our first summer. The first summer when Casa Vicens’ doors are open to the public. The first July mornings, the first Visitors’ Days, the first August afternoons. This summer we’ll experience our first Festivals of Gràcia, the first photography workshop, the first back to school, the first Mercè and much more!
