What’s Casa Vicens like at dawn?

Good Morning, Gaudí

Would you like your photos to capture the best possible light? Gaudí’s first house before Barcelona wakes up, in peace and only for a lucky few.

Self-guided visit before opening to the public (8 a.m.).
Limited entry: maximum 20 people.
Mobile audio guides in 15 languages. Don’t forget your earphones!

You’ll only find out if you choose this exclusive visit.

What we can tell you is that the early morning light makes its walls and your photographs unique. And that the sounds of morning will take you back to the calm, summer-holiday years of the people for whom it was designed.

Can you imagine roaming Gaudí’s first house before other visitors arrive and the hustle and bustle of the Gràcia neighbourhood starts up?

You just need to book your Good morning, Gaudí visit, arrive on time and enjoy the house without crowds.

We don’t open our doors to the general public until 9:30 a.m., so you can stay all the time you want. Revisit your favourite corners, go up, come back down, and experience the house calmly and at your own pace.

What’s more, you also have the audio guide to discover its stories, details and secrets.

Barcelona hides a gem among its streets: this summer house where time stands still. Make it yours at dawn, because just like every oasis, it’s there to be enjoyed.

One of the most beautiful and magical places I’ve visited in Barcelona! My favourite parts of the house were the outdoor porch with the beautiful fountain on the main floor, and the blue smoking room. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Barcelona.

The house is just beautiful and it’s well worth spending at least an hour on the visit. The staff are very friendly, both in the rooms as well as in the gift shop. I’d highly recommend it if you’re spending a few days in Barcelona.
