Casa Vicens collaborates in the Annual Festival of Gràcia through discounts, family workshops and a special award in the best-festooned streets competition

For the third year running, Gaudí’s first house awards one of the special prizes in the best-festooned streets competition in the Annual Festival of the Gràcia district.

Between 15 and 21 August, Casa Vicens will be organising free activities in the streets and will offer a discount on the purchase of tickets to visit Gaudí’s first house.

Casa Vicens has been taking part in the Annual Festival of the Gràcia districts for seven years now, and once again, Gaudí’s first house is organising free family activities in the streets, offering discounts on tickets to the museum-house and also participating in the traditional best-festooned streets competition. On this occasion, the museum-house will be awarding a special prize to the street that reproduces the chosen theme best. It is one of the awards that is sponsored by the Fundació Festa Major de Gràcia, and will entitle the winner to a special tour of the museum-house.

Visits with a 20% discount

This discount will be available between 15 and 21 August on the purchase of self-guided visit and guided tours in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Chinese. To obtain the discount, enter the FMGRACIA code in the online shopping area of the casavicens.org website.

Casa Vicens is open every day from 9:30 am to 20:00 pm.

Free family workshops

Between 15 and 21 August, Gaudí’s first house will be holding a workshop at which families can make their own paper carnation tile, which is the icon of Casa Vicens. This activity will be staged in the following streets: Travessia de Sant Antoni, carrer Fraternitat de Dalt, Placeta de Sant Miquel, carrer Mozart, Plaça del Nord and carrer Puigmartí, among others. The workshop will be organised into two shifts, at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. No advance registration is required and you are advised to check the Annual Festival Programme to confirm street and time.
