The ceramics from Casa Vicens are one of its most recognisable elements. With this workshop you can discovering the process of creating tiles with carnations, the yellow flowers that cover the house’s façades. Led by the master artisan ceramist Manel Diestre, director of the process to restore Casa Vicens’ ceramic pieces, you will visit the Casa Vicens where you will discover the rooms and the ornamentation. Then you will know how the carnations tile is manufactured using the original trepa (transfer-printing) technique. To finish, you can maket your own tile that you can take home later*

* As the tiles need to be baked, the tile must be picked up once baked, in Casa Vicens. The date of collection will be informed the day of the workshop.
